Clear your calendar for Saturday, November 23, 2013 because we have a full evening of contemporary art planned just for you!
Starting at 6pm, CCAS will be aglow with an exhibition celebrating the 20th Annual PINK WEEK. Featuring treasures from the Official Pink Week Archive as well as pink artworks by over 50 local and national artists the show challenges the cultural associations of pink. Pink Week is a conceptual artwork in the form of a holiday that aims to liberate the color by celebrating it's plurality of meaning.
CCAS is able to bring you engaging and exciting exhibitions such as the 20th Annual PINK WEEK in large part by The CCAS Anual Benefit Art Auction. Running concurrently right across the street at Elliout Fouts Gallery the auction is a great way to grow your collection, foster local artists, and support the advancement of contemporary art in Sacramento in one fell swoop. Doors open at 6pm with a general admission of $10, or for free if you are a CCAS member.
